|
 |
| To provide the most cost-effective solution, the 3D model can be created at a
level of detail that is most suited to a project's specific needs:
|
 |
| |
Conceptual Model:
Used for front-end studies in the earliest stages of a revamp or retrofit
project. It includes modeling of all equipment and the basic civil, structural
and electrical elements. With the RealityLINx® Visualizer, this model can be
used in conjunction with laser-scanned clouds of points and photogrammetry
stereo photos to access plant details. |
 |
Simple Revamp Model:
A level above the conceptual 3D model. The tie-ins for a revamp project are
identified and the basic 3D model is developed in the vicinity of each tie-in
point. |
 |
Major Revamp Model:
A full 3D model representation of the RealityLINx® Database (physical
database). |
 |
Intelligent Model:
The 3D model is converted from a graphical representation to a specification
driven 3D model. |
