RealityLINx Manage
RealityLINx Manage provides a versatile approach to maintaining an evergreen up to date asset model and “as-built” information. It works within your existing Management of Change (MOC) processes. Once a change has been made to the facilities, RealityLINx Manage allows the users to manage synchronization of new laser scans, 3D CAD drawings, and the three dimensional asset models. Once the asset model is updated, then the effected “knowledge views” would be updated such as TML (Thickness Monitoring Location) drawings or IDL (Isolation Device Location) drawings and then saved in the persistent databases such as SAP PM, or Meridium, or Documentum.
Some applications of RealityLINx Manage include:
Manage Point Cloud Data – import/export survey data, manage laser scan data sets, and import/export/manage catalog definitions
Manage Roles – manage roles, user, and security, manage work spaces, and manage licenses. Optimize the solution to fit your business.
Manage Change – workflow and change management processes, synchronization of CAD drawings, laser scans, asset model and updates to knowledge views
RealityLINx Manage Features
View/Manipulate/Navigate – Provides the ability to fly, walk, zoom, and rotate within 3D object models easily with an intuitive humane machine interface for non-CAD users. The system allows the user to select the best possible model view for the job at hand and to switch from solid to wireframe to hidden line models at will. These features enable plant staff to consider physical situation before performing any field task. Beyond these best in class viewing functions, the users can customize the view, make measurements, and examine asset properties.
Search – This is a very powerful search engine unique to RealityLINx and provides users viewing a model to search any asset attribute such as type, vicinity, or asset name and also run predefined queries, save these queries, and view the results in 3D.
Print – One of the most useful features is the ability to print the current view of the model including knowledge views and the export these to PDF files. This hard copy could be included in design review documents, maintenance work request, inspection routing packages, among many possible uses.
Integration Adapters – One of the key features is the ability to provide dynamic access to other data sources such as SAP-PM, Maximo, Documentum, OSI PI, etc. in fact any ODBC data source allowing users to query an asset. By pointing to an asset a uses can dynamically access that assets safety documents, isolation procedures, drawings, work order history, outstanding work orders, maintenance procedures inspection reports, and any other information he/she may need.
Knowledge Book – The capability for users to create knowledge book views (such as maintenance instruction drawings, thickness measurements locations, TML’s, isolation device locations, IDL’s), add annotation (mark points and labels), add file links to assets, save and update these views as needed. This provides an extremely powerful and versatile tool for communications between cross functional groups such as maintenance, inspection, and operations.
Administer – One of the main objectives of RealityLINx is to provide a rich set of administration tools for multi-users sites to allow and support customization of the user interface, definition of default properties, backup and restore work processes, manage licensing, and define external ODBC database sources. However, unlike other tools in this space, RealityLINx goes beyond the above to support management of change processes with features like CAD import/export/synchronization, change and workflow management.
Author – In addition to the above, RealityLINx provides the most intuitive, easiest, fastest tool set in the market place to import laser scan data point clouds and create an intelligized asset model. The features supporting this include the ability to manage laser scan data sets, manipulate laser scan point cloud data, import/export/manage catalog definitions, create graphical elements and custom assemblies, assisted modeling and asset creation, and importing of asset attribute values.
