| RealityLINx Model
| RealityLINx Model provides a powerful tool for capturing 3D CAD models of existing
plant configurations and is the cornerstone of INOVx's Asset Documentation
Services solution. It employs a unique technology to convert the output of
laser scanning and photogrammetry into an accurate 3D model of an existing
plant.
| Primary applications of RealityLINx Model are:
Creation of Physical Databases: Analysis of laser scans, stereo photos and
survey points captured during field data collection and the development the
INOVx Physical Database.
Development from the INOVx Physical Database of graphical 3D models utilizing:
| Automatic surface modeling |
| Assisted primitive modeling
| RealityLINx Model Features
| Open Data Architecture Process laser images
from most major laser scanning systems and stereo photos from most digital and
array cameras and incorporate them into the INOVx Physical Database. |
| Scan Regions Organize scan data in single or
multiple volumes for faster access and display. Display and search tools
provide unprecedented and rapid access to logical and complete regions of
points. Users no longer are required to "find" the points they need to do their
work. |
| Object Catalogs Customize or use industry
"standardized" specifications for selected piping, structural steel, and
electrical elements and use complex primitive objects for other disciplines. |
| Assisted 3D Modeling Select discrete points in
a laser image and rapidly create complete and accurate CAD geometry, i.e.,
entire piping systems. |
| Quality Management Review new and existing 3D
model accuracy and completeness with scan and image overlay features. |
| CAD Support Import/Export graphical 3D models
directly from/to design CAD systems, including popular intelligent CAD
systems. |
| Cost Effective 3-D PlantLINx® is
cost-effective, making 3D modeling financially feasible for revamp and retrofit
projects.
| Scalable Plant owners can select the level of
3D model complexity required for a specific project, and are thus able to
tailor the cost for the actual needs at the time needed.
| Ongoing uses With this affordable solution, 3D
models can be employed to facilitate overall plant operations including
maintenance and inspections.
| Compatible RealityLINx models are fully
compatible with all major 3D CAD systems and provide plant owners and engineers
with a new opportunity to exploit the power of 3D plant design tools on
existing plants. |
